Loctite 290 Thread Locker, Loctite 290™ is a medium strength thread locker for pre-assembled bolts up to 1/2" (12 mm). Loctite 290™ Penetrates threads by capillary action. Secures set screws and other assemblies after settings are completed. Seals welds and porous metal parts. LOCTITE 290 is a single component low viscosity anaerobic thread locking material. Recommended For: Use on metal fasteners 1/12" (2.2 mm) to 1/2" (12.7 mm) in diameter such as pre-assembled fasteners, instrumentation crews, carburetors and electrical connectors .
